Great
Student Awards
These are the students
in my classes who have shown that they 'stand out from the crowd'. They
are a pleasure to have in my classroom.Welcome to World History
On the Web. All assignments, over 20 internet homework assignments, class notes and many
other instruction enhancements are right here on this web site. The class is a survey
course in World History from Creation to the Modern Era. We start the class with the
various views of the beginning of the Universe and wend our way to this century.
This site is designed to help you along the way.
You can navigate through the site with the links on the left of each
page. At the top are links to my Home Page and to other pages on the same level as
the current page. Here, for example, the 'Back' and 'Next' buttons go to my other
classes entry page that are similar to this one. On the left, the 'Up' link will
take you to the next higher page -- in this case, the Home Page.
Calendar will
take you to the daily assignments for the class. You will find links to on- and
off-site homework assigments there along with other links for additional information. The
entire course is posted (be cautious here though -- the schedule could slip one way or
another. Always check this for the currently due assignment.)
Course Information is the Administrative
part of the site and goes to the Class Policies, Syllabus, etc.
Notes goes to the pages of my class notes
that I have posted for you. I have not converted all of them for these web pages,
nor is this designed to be a substitute for your own note-taking. Never-the-less,
these are here to help refresh your memory of the class discussions.
Internet Homework takes you to the
overnight Internet Homework assignments that I created for you.
This is a very interesting class to teach. We'll meet
many cool and interesting people along the way -- some admirable, some not. I hope
you enjoy the voyage.
